I know that that Carlos and his wife probably don’t read an obscure Astros blog, but in case they do, I just want them to know that me and Husband and all my readers (hi Mama!!!) are praying for them.
I’ve never lost a child, thank God, but I’ve lost too many people I really loved and the grieving process is hard and lengthy, I know. You never EVER forget the anniversary of the death, neither, no matter how much time passes. The wounds heal, but leave a scar, it’s what it is to be human.
If we were with Carlos and his wife, we could all give them a hug and cry with them a little. Because although we know that the boy is now with God and is free from suffering, it’s the parents who are left behind to suffer.
Bless them both.

Amen.
When a small child dies there is a hole in the parents heart that neverreally closes. Life goes on and other children need the parents, and if they can over come this blow they are very special. My heart gores out to them.
