I remember when Ken Boswell was traded from the New York Mets to the Houston Astros prior to the 1975 season, which would also be the first season that the Astros wore the rainbow uniform. Upon seeing his new baseball threads, Boswell remarked that they looked like one of Mets announcer Lindsey Nelson’s sports jackets.
